Let's face it, anybody would be happy to use an online coupon management system if they didn't have to do any typing. Getting the information about the coupons you have on hand into the system is tedious and time consuming. Coupons are hard to read, mistakes are easy to make, and your list can quickly deteriorate without constant upkeep.

The good news? You can actually share the regimen of updating with a buddy or several others using myQ's unique import feature! Just ask your shopping buddy for their myQ ID and input it using the "Import" function located in your main user menu.

myQ keeps database records of coupons in a master file. We call these records coupon "definitions" because the records indicate who issued the coupon, what product it applies to, any restrictions ETC. The most important, of course, is how much it's worth and when it expires. Other fields such as category, type,source, store ETC are less global in nature because users are free to add data to their personal definitions which meets their needs. For example, myQ uses only three basic category types by default whereas individual users might wish to divide coupons into many additional categories.

If you plan to share definitions, it's best to find someone who uses the same basic system you do. That's about the only thing really. Other than that. your virtual shopping buddy can be next door or across the country. Good candidates for sharing the work would be a friend with similar interest or a fellow couponer from an internet chat board.
