myQ's master list is provided as a convenience. We attempt to maintain an up-to-date list of recently available coupons. This information comes from popular Newspaper inserts, new on-line offerings and other sources which are broadly available. The list does not include coupons from strictly ¹regional sources
The standard or master list is the easiest place to get started using myQ. Just browse the list for coupons you allready have and click to add them to your personal inventory. No typing, and you'll have a useful coupon inventory set up within minutes.
Choosing filter and sort options: At times the master list can be quite large. Don't let a long list keep you from saving the key strokes required to type in your own coupon records. There are several tools which can help you find the pre-defined descriptions.
- Search You may not know, but there is a great search feature built right
in to your browser. Both IE and Firefox browsers will search the current web page for
a word or phrase simply by pressing "F" while holding the control (Ctrl) key down.
Try it! Let's say you are looking for "Pillsbury" coupons, press Ctrl-F, type in
"Pillsbury" and go.
- Filters Each myQ master coupon record is assigned one of three categories,
Grocery, Household or Beauty & Health. If the list is long, try viewing each of the categories one at a time using the filter settings at the top of this page.
- Sorting The default sort order for the master list is to list the most recently
added records first. In this order, your favorite brand may appear randomly throughout
the list. To change
the sort order, click on any of the list headings to sort by that data. In this example
you would click on "Brand" so that all your favorites would show in a group.
- Reset Sort and filter options stay in effect until you change them. (The heading
shows the current view) If you don't see a coupon description, click "reset" to
make sure all master list records are shown.
Coupon Sets
Coupon Sets provide a more focused method of acquiring coupon definitions for your personal inventory. We attampt to maintain lists of all coupons appearing in popular publications such as Red Plum. Rather than wasting time typing in coupons from one of the supported sources, simply import the entire set then delete those you don't use.Online Sets
The expiration date for definitions imported from online sets such as coupons.com may not match your final printed copies. Some coupons expire on a rolling time frame from the date actually printed and may therefore may expire before or after the date shown by the import set.
To correct this, select the imported records in your list and use the reclassify command to apply a new expiration date. For help with the reclassify function see the selected items section in the function help section.
