Printing with myQ

There is more to the efficient use of coupons than just a computer program. You'll need a methodical plan for each aspect of the saving process including some deliberate planning to be effective. myQ can't physically store and sort your coupons, of course, but the pick list feature (print selected items) can do a lot to get you out the door for shopping with every thing you need. myQ does this by combining three common shopping tasks into a single 8.5 X 11 piece of paper. For each store you will visit, the print selected items feature gives you:
  • The notepad for a traditional hand written grocery list.

  • A printed pick list for the coupons you want to use.

  • A folder to hold your coupons plus those you find in the store.

Before your trip, just browse your inventory and select the appropriate coupons. Print your pick list, fold it around the coupons and finish your shopping list on the back. That's it! The pocket clip of your pen makes a handy paperclip to keep everything togther so you end up with just one item to carry in the store and everything you need is ready at at the register.

Here's another idea to keep your little page out of the landfill. When you get home, staple the folded register tape to the inside of the folder and use the facing whitespace to reconcile your savings or grade the store and your trip. It makes the record of the trip easy to file plus, over time, these records can be a big help to refine and improve your shopping technique.
